Worship at Saint Asaph's

join us for in-person Sunday morning worship services at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The 10 a.m. service is live-streamed via Facebook Live.

Worship at Saint Asaph is rooted in the rich Anglican tradition of the Book of Common Prayer, while drawing on practices from other traditions that speak to our community. Sundays are centered on the Eucharist, where Holy Communion is shared together as a sign of God’s love.

All are invited to engage in worship as a practice of faith—listening to God, sharing and hearing stories, seeking and celebrating forgiveness, and growing into the fullness of who God created us to be. It is a space to open our hearts to God, ourselves, and our neighbors, and to live as images of God in the world.

Weekly Worship

Each week, we gather to worship God, share Holy Communion, and be renewed for life in the world.

8:00 AM – Holy Communion

A quiet, contemplative service held in the chancel without music. This simple, peaceful liturgy offers space for prayerful reflection at the start of the day.

10:00 AM – Holy Communion with Music

Our principal Sunday service features choir, congregational singing, and vibrant worship grounded in Episcopal tradition.

After the 10:00 AM service, all are invited to Coffee Hour for fellowship and connection.

Seasonal & Special Services

Throughout the year, we celebrate the rhythms of the liturgical calendar with special services during Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and other feast days. These liturgies enrich our spiritual life and deepen our journey through the seasons of faith.

Join us as we worship, learn, and grow together.

Worship Volunteers

Our worship life at Saint Asaph is supported by dedicated volunteers who offer their gifts with joy and care. There are many ways to serve:

Altar Guild

Members prepare the sanctuary for worship, caring for the altar, vessels, linens, and vestments that support our liturgy.

Acolytes

Acolytes of all ages assist the clergy before, during, and after services—carrying the cross, bearing torches, and serving in other roles that support our worship.

Flower Guild

The Flower Guild creates beautiful floral arrangements and seasonal decorations for our services and cares for the supplies in the flower room.

Lay Assisting Ministers

These volunteers help lead our worship by assisting the clergy, coordinating worship teams, and serving as masters of ceremonies during the liturgy.

Greeters

Greeters offer a warm welcome to everyone who enters the church. They distribute leaflets, assist with seating and collections, and help guide the congregation during Holy Communion.

Whether you are new to Saint Asaph or a longtime member, there is a place for you to serve and grow in our worship life. Contact the parish office or Fr. Kellner to volunteer.
