The Church of Saint Asaph – An Episcopal Community

Welcome to the Church of Saint Asaph! Whether you’re new to church, visiting from out of town, or exploring the Episcopal tradition, we’re delighted to have you join us. Here’s what you can expect during your visit.


Sunday Worship Services

We offer two distinct services each Sunday:

8:00 AM – Rite II (No Music, Chancel Service)

  • A quiet, contemplative service of Holy Eucharist held in the chancel.
  • Using Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer.
  • This service is perfect for those who prefer a peaceful start to the day.

10:00 AM – Rite II (Lively Worship with Choir)

  • A joyful service with vibrant congregational singing.
  • During the season, our choir joins to enrich the musical worship experience.
  • Sunday School Children join the congregation during Holy Communion.


Sunday Morning Opportunities for All Ages

9:00 AM – Adult Bible Study (Parlor)

  • Join us for a discussion-based study of scripture in a welcoming and informal setting. No prior Bible knowledge needed!

9:45 AM – Sunday School for Children

  • Engaging classes for children begin just before the main service.
  • Children rejoin the congregation for Holy Communion at 10:00 AM.


After the Service

Coffee Hour

  • Join us after the 10:00 AM service for refreshments, conversation, and connection with the community.

Sunday Forums (Often Following Coffee Hour)

  • Stay for presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics, from spiritual formation to social justice and community initiatives.


Additional Notes for Your Visit

  • Dress Code: Come as you are! Some dress in business casual, others more casually. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and respectful.
