If you, (or someone you know), are between the ages of 18 and 29, you, (and they) are in for a wonderful opportunity! The Bishop has sanctioned a diocesan pilgrimage to Taizé for young adults this coming summer. You may have heard the Taizé chants in church from time to time, and although the music is wonderful, what marks a pilgrimage there is getting to know other young adults in an open, non-judgmental way with plenty of opportunity for conversations about what gives our lives meaning, and how God might be calling us in today’s context of climate change, political divisiveness, inequality, gun-violence, and an uncertain future. Please join me at St. Asaph’s on Tuesday, November 12 at 6:30 for the first of several times of preparation. There is a wonderful Taizé web-site to get you started. [http://taize.fr/en_rubrique9.html] We are still working out the cost, and there will be financial aid for up to 50% of your share, (or more, depending on need).
